Preparing for your Session

Before the Session

Please have a light meal or a healthy snack two to three hours before your appointment, and then stop eating for a full two hours before your appointment.
Please avoid drinking more than a sip or two of liquids for a couple of hours before your appointment as well. Your colon will absorb a lot of water during our appointment so if you have been drinking, your bladder can fill up an can be uncomfortable.
Avoid food that is gas forming a day or so before your appointment.

Optional Preparation

  • Some people use a natural laxative the day before their colonic so that the fresh waste will be easy to release and there is more time to hydrate the colon. If this feels right for you, please choose something that does not cause cramping. A simple enema is also an option the night before.
  • Edgar Cayce suggests that applying a castor oil pack for an hour on three days in a row before your appointment will facilitate your most effective colonic. He also recommends consuming a half-teaspoon or so of cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil after each pack.

During the Session

During the session, most clothing can be kept on. A paper drape is provided to ensure modesty. Your dignity is always maintained. As an I-ACT certified colon hygienist, I administers the colonic by regulating the flow of water into the bowel while listening and watching your bodies reactions. Massage of the abdomen may be done to help loosen fecal matter or to promote peristalsis, a dome sauna can be placed over your abdominal area to relax.

The actual colonic lasts from 30 to 45 minutes.

Most clients state that a colonic is more comfortable than they had first imagined and they love how much lighter and calmer they feel afterwards.
